PLOT

AKIRA TACHIBANA, A RESERVED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT, AND FORMER TRACK  RUNNER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO RACE THE SAME AS USED TO SINCE SHE EXPERIENCED SEVERE FOOT INJURY. AND ALTHOUGH SHE IS REGARDED A ATTRACTIVE BY HER CLASSMATE, SHE NOT INTERESTED IN BOYS AROUND SCHOOL.

WHILE WORKING PART-TIME T THE GARDEN CAFE, AKIRA BEGINS TO DEVELOP FEELING FOR THE MANAGER A 45 YEARS OLD MAN NAMED MASAMI KONDOU  DESPITE THE LARGE AGE GAP. KONDOU SHOW GENUINE CONCERN AND KINDNESS TOWARD THE CUSTOMERS OF HIS RESTAURANT, WHICH, VIEWED BY OTHER AS SOFT OR WEaK, DRAWS AKIRA TO HIM. SPENDING TIME TOGETHER AT THE RESTAURANT, THEY GROW CLOSER, WHICH  STRENGTHENS HER FEELING. WEIGHED DOWN BY THESE UNCERTAIN EMOTIONS, AKIRA FINALLY RESOLVERS TO CONFESS, BUT WHAT WILL BE THE RESULT?.

CHARACTERS 

1) AKIRA TACHIBANA VOICED BY SAYUMI WATABE, PLAYED BY NANA KOMATSU.

A young high-school student, with a sharp, piercing expression, that makes many people, slightly wary of her. She used to be part of the Track team before a leg injury forced her to give up running. Having fallen into a depression, she met Masami who acted in a kind and friendly manner, offering her a free coffee when she took shelter at the restaurant in the rain. This act of kindness began her infatuation with him. Despite her cold, and unapproachable demeanor, she is actually rather timid and shy, especially, when it comes to Masami.

2) MASAMI KONDO/ MANAGER VOICED BY HIROKI HIRATA PLAYED BY YO OIZUMI.

A 45-year-old manager of a family restaurant. A kind, timid man, he is often criticized by his employees for being too weak. He is divorced and has a young son named Yuto. He is initially rather intimidated by Akira, whom he assumes actually hates him, while she, in fact, is merely staring at him in love. He is a fan of "Pure Literature" and loves reading books. It reveals that prior to becoming a restaurant manager, he writes novels along with his former college buddy and now-renowned writer Chihiro Kujo.

3) Haruka Kyan

Akira's former buddy in the Track team, who remains steadfast in maintaining their friendship after Akira's injury

A chef in the restaurant who had a sexual interest in Akira. When he learned about Akira's infatuation with Masami, he tried to blackmail her by dating with him in order to keep her secret intact.
